Wadhurst Brass Band is a non profit organisation run by volunteers and so are its conductor, administrators and of course musicians. It aims to maintain a Traditional Brass Band and a training band to interest the young and not so young in music, capture and train new talent; to produce music and contribute to maintain the Brass Bands Tradition.
Wadhurst Brass Band finances itself with the proceeds of performance bookings, donations and other activities. This helps maintaining the facilities where the band practices, purchase, supply and maintenance of instruments, music, uniforms and a long list of other things necessary for the running and existence of a large Brass Band.
To that we add some merchandise and other goodies listed below. Please take a look and keep in mind that, in purchasing any of the merchandise you’re making possible the continuity of the band.
In May 2010 the Band made a tour to Ypres and Aubers. Paddy McFarlan recorded the event on dvd. We have some copies for sale at £5 each.
