Wadhurst Brass Band is a non profit organisation run by volunteers and so are its conductor, administrators and of course musicians. It aims to maintain a Traditional Brass Band and a training band to interest the young and not so young in music, capture and train new talent; to produce music and contribute to maintain the Brass Bands Tradition.
We finances ourselves with the proceeds of performance bookings, donations and other activities. This helps maintaining the facilities where the band practices, purchase, supply and maintenance of instruments, music, uniforms and a long list of other things necessary for the running and existence of a large Brass Band.
We have now enrolled with easyfundraising, a website that helps all sorts of organisations like ours raise well-needed funds. The idea is that you to shop with your favourite online stores and at no extra cost to you, raise funds for the Band. You still shop directly with each retailer as you would normally, but by logging onto their site via the easyfundraising page first. Follow this link to the Band’s easy-fundraising page, register that you would like to support the Band. Then from their list of retailers find those you would like to shop with, buy your goods and, for each purchase you make, you will generate a cash-back donation to the Band. For example, WHSmiths and Amazon offer 2.5% cash back, and there are lots of retailers and deals to explore. You can shop with 2000+ brand name retailers, and there are always special offers to tempt you.
