The centenary of the end of the First World War will be a moving moment in Wadhusrt as we gather in church for our Service of Remebrance. Later in the afternoon there will be a concert involving the band and many Wadhurst clubs and societies as we take a lighter look at the end First World War.

Sunday 11th November is a date for you diary. "Over the Top" is Wadhurst's own special commemoration at the anniversary of the armistice that brought to an end the First World War. The concert features The Band, Wadhurst Dramatic Club and WYTkidz along with Wadhurst Aloud, our community choir, Wadhurst Ukulele Group and guests. The concert starts at 6.30pm in the Commemoration Hall and tickets are available from Carillon Cottage and Southern Cross Travel and are priced at £12.50 and under 16s £6.
