Here we are in November and the weather is still relatively mild even though some days are misty and damp. It is difficult to think of Christmas coming soon but the odd carol on the radio and festive ads on the telly show we are not far away.
The Band has a very busy period ahead, starting with our Christmas concert on the Saturday 3rd December. We were so disappointed that the snow stopped us in our tracks last year and we want to give you a good show this time around. Tickets are now available from Carillon Cottage, priced at £8 and £6 for concessions, children under 16 are free with an adult. And seasonal refreshments (wine and mince pies to you and me) are included in the price.
We are also out and about playing carols in Ticehurst and Stonegate as well as in Wadhurst and this year we have been invited by the Royal Tunbridge Wells Choral Society to accompany them at their Christmas Concert in Goudhurst Parish Church on the 11th December, we are really looking forward to that.
So if you get the chance we loved to see you either at the concerts or out and about in the village. Thank you for all you support over the year, we really appreciate it. Happy Christmas!
